Body camera video captures police officer saving woman from falling more than 300 feet

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – An 18-minute harrowing Honolulu Police Department body camera video shows a patrol officer saving a woman from falling more than 300 feet, and she’s getting widespread praise for using crisis intervention training.

On the newest episode of “HPD: Behind the Badge,” Officer Tiare Perry responds to a call of a woman in crisis at a Pearl City high-rise on Kamehameha Highway in April of last year.
