A woman in her 60s is currently fighting for her life after being found unresponsive in the waters off Oahu’s North Shore, a popular yet sometimes treacherous destination for swimmers and snorkelers alike. At approximately 3:15 p.m. yesterday, Honolulu Emergency Medical Services was called to Three Tables Beach, where the woman, initially out for an afternoon swim with her group, had mysteriously gone unresponsive upon reboarding their boat.
As reported by KITV, the group, witnessing her sudden lack of response, quickly brought her back to the shore. However, it was the EMS that, after treating her on the scene, promptly rushed her to the nearest emergency room in a condition described as critical.
