HONOLULU (KHON2) — On Sept. 4, a pedestrian was hit by a car around 10:17 a.m. in the Makikilo area, reported Honolulu Police Department.
Police said the pedestrian was walking in the road on Palahia Street outside a marked crosswalk when a 71-year-old driver hit her.

The pedestrian was transported by Emergency Medical Services to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
HPD reported she later succumbed to her injuries and died…
