HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A 17-year-old boy who was hospitalized in critical condition following a shooting in Nanakuli Saturday was pronounced brain dead.
Police said Monday evening, a “brain death determination was made” at 11:59 a.m. that day, and reclassified the investigation from attempted murder to murder in the second degree.
