TRACKING KIKO | Kiko weakens into a remnant low, no longer a threat

HONOLULU (Island News) — As of 5 a.m. HST this morning, Tropical Storm Kiko has officially weakened and is now classified as a remnant low.

Located about 110 miles north of Honolulu, the system is moving west at 12 mph with winds near 35 mph. Kiko will continue drifting west-northwest over the next couple of days, gradually fading away.

There are no coastal watches or warnings in effect for Hawaii, and this will be the final advisory issued for Kiko by the Central Pacific Hurricane Center…
