HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A teacher at Farrington High School was surprised with a $1,000 gift card for her classroom as part of this year’s Extra Yard for Teachers Week.
The Hawaii Bowl Foundation surprised math teacher Lynn Otaguro Tuesday morning.
According to the organization’s press release, “Otaguro has been a dedicated mathematics teacher for many years, known not only for her excellence in the classroom but also for the care and commitment she shows to her students beyond the classroom. She regularly stays after school to provide extra tutoring, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to fully understand and succeed in grasping challenging concepts.”…
