Lost motorcyclists rescued using cell phone location

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The Honolulu Fire Department responded to lost motorcyclists near the Kipapa Ridge Trail in Waiawa on Sunday.

HFD received a 911 call at 7:15 p.m. that three motorcycle riders were traveling off-road between the Kipapa Ridge Trail and the Waiawa Correctional Facility for approximately three hours and became lost due to darkness.
