HALEIWA, Hawaii (Island News) – Paramedics responded to Ke Iki Beach to treat two people who were reportedly swept out into the surf in Haleiwa on Sunday morning.
According to the Honolulu Emergency Medical Services (EMS), a man and a woman, both believed to be in their 60s or 70s, were rescued after being swept underwater and apparently swallowed some water.
The incident occurred around 7:45 a.m. when EMS administered advanced life support and took the man and the woman to a nearby emergency room in serious condition…
