HONOLULU (KHON2) — The Honolulu Police Department is celebrating two of its largest graduating classes in recent years.
The 217th class will graduate on Friday, Oct. 23, at 6 p.m. at the Moanalua High School Performing Arts Center.

The class has a total of 21 recruits, including 17 men and four women.
“We’re always proud of our recruits who make it all the way through the program,” said Interim Deputy Chief Aaron Takasaki-Young. “That means we’re putting the right people in the right place. They understand the responsibility of being an officer and take it seriously.”
