HONOLULU (KHON2) — The two teens who died Saturday while fishing at Kaena Point have been identified as seniors at Waianae High School. Friends are heartbroken and left wondering what happened since both were experienced fishermen.

“They very, very good boys,” said Jaysha Saltiban, friend to both. “They didn’t deserve this.”
The incident happened Saturday morning at Kaena Point. Friends say one of the boys was swept into the water and the other jumped in to help. They’re not sure who was in the water first…
