HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – It’s been almost five months since Dakota Briley was hit by a vehicle that veered off the road on Oahu’s North Shore on Kamehameha Highway, pinning him between two vehicles.
The 20-year-old suffered life threatening injuries and was put in a coma, spending nearly two months in the intensive care unit at The Queen’s Medical Center. The young surfer is now recovering, surrounded by family, faith and a solid circle of love around him.
