MOTORISTS are being hit with new fluctuating speed fines – and many won’t find out about the penalties, worth up to £313, until after they’ve already driven home.

Honolulu’s new speed camera enforcement is now officially live – and it’s catching out unsuspecting drivers fast.

From Saturday, motorists caught speeding through 10 intersections across Oahu will no longer get off with a warning.

Instead, they’ll be hit with official citations sent straight to their mailbox, with fines that can soar to $313 (£250) depending on how far over the limit they were driving…
