HONOLULU (KHON2) — Multiple people have been reported injured in Kentucky following a cargo plane crash at Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport.
According to officials, the crash involving UPS Flight 2976 happened around 5:20 p.m. Eastern time during its departure from the airport.

The Federal Aviation Administration said the McDonnell Douglas MD-11 was heading for Honolulu’s Daniel K. Inouye International Airport.
In a press conference, Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear said there are at least 11 injuries due to the crash, adding he “expects those numbers to grow.”
