Food distribution events to take place over the weekend

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The Hawaii Foodbank is holding food distribution events throughout the weekend to help families impacted by the government shutdown.

Families at risk of losing Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits and federal workers impacted by the government shutdown formed a line at Keehi Lagoon Memorial Park.
