WAHIAWA, Hawaii (Island News) – The Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) extinguished a fire that was reported at a local L&L Drive Inn restaurant in the Wahiawa area on Sunday afternoon.
HFD responded to 138 South Kamehameha Hwy at approximately 3:04 p.m. to find people actively evacuating the single-story building as smoke was coming from the roof.
Firefighters initiated an aggressive offensive fire attack and got water on the fire by 3:09 p.m. It was brought under control at 3:18 p.m. and fully extinguished at 3:29 p.m…
