HONOLULU (KHON2) — Clarence Luke, Jr., 42, was indicted for the murder of 55-year-old Jonnaven Monalim on Nov. 14, the Department of the Prosecuting Attorney said.
Luke allegedly murdered Monalim, a known government informant, on Nov. 5. The victim was previously reported missing by his family before his body was found on Nov. 7 in Waipiʻo, officials said.

Monalim’s body was reportedly found with multiple gunshot wounds, the department said.
Luke was indicted with Murder in the Second Degree, as well as Carrying or Using a Firearm in the Commission of a Separate Felony and Place to Keep Pistol or Revolver.
