Lunchtime Chaos On Kapiolani As Two Pedestrians Struck Near Ala Moana

A lunchtime crash on Kapiolani Boulevard just northeast of Ala Moana Center left two pedestrians in serious condition last Saturday, briefly turning one of Honolulu’s busiest corridors into a bottleneck.

A 32-year-old woman and a 52-year-old man were hit around 12:45 p.m. and taken to the hospital, where they were listed in serious condition. Traffic backed up as emergency crews moved in along the popular shopping and commuter route.
