Kona couple charged in major drug bust near a school

KONA, Hawaii (Island News) – A Kona couple was arrested and charged after a narcotics search at a residence on Lapa Nui St. in Kona on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, according to the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney.

David Jossy, 37, and Amy Fattorosi, 36, were charged with multiple drug offenses, including promoting a dangerous drug and attempted distribution of cocaine. VICE-West officers recovered over 60 grams of cocaine and 458.6 grams of marijuana during the search.

Both Jossy and Fattorosi appeared in Kona District Court on Wednesday. Despite prosecutors’ objections, they were granted supervised release and are scheduled for a preliminary hearing on December 12, 2025…
