Woman allegedly attacks police officer during restraining order arrest in Kapolei

KAPOLEI, Hawaii (Island News) — A woman allegedly attacked a police officer as she was getting arrested for a restraining order violation in Kapolei on Friday.

Police officers responded to a report of an argument on Kapolei Parkway at about 12:45 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 21. Police determined that a 35-year-old woman had violated an active temporary restraining order (TRO).

When officers attempted to arrest her, she began to resist arrest and kicked an officer in the stomach which injured them. The officer who was attacked later received medical treatment and was released in good condition…
