Waimanalo thanksgiving tradition of feeding the homeless and community

WAIMANALO(Island News) — The turkey is hot , the pumpkin pie is cut, and hundreds of people are ready for a holiday feast.

Twenty-three years ago, Sandra Pascal started what’s now a Thanksgiving tradition for the Waimanlao Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Sandra Pascal, the church member who started this tradition, said, “The response was just overwhelming, because people felt like somebody was thinking of me.”…
