WAIANAE, Hawaii (KHON2) – The Puʻuhonua o Wai‘anae community has begun moving into its new “Farm Village” in Waiʻanae Valley.
This marks a big shift toward long-term, stable housing for the group that lived for years near the Waiʻanae Small Boat Harbor.

The new site sits on 20 acres that POW secured in 2020. Officials said about half the land will be used for family homes and the other half will be for farming and community needs.
