Fall 2025 Service Fair in Honolulu a Lifeline for Probationers Seeking Resources and Employment

Honolulu’s pathway to rehabilitation received a boost as Kaʻahumanu Hale played host to over 150 individuals on probation and specialty court programs. At the Fall 2025 Service Fair, organized by the Judiciary’s Adult Client Services Branch (ACSB), attendees encountered a range of providers to help them secure employment, housing, and treatment, according to a recent Hawaii State Judiciary report. The event took place on the courthouse lanai, bringing nearly 40 service providers together to simplify access to essential resources.

Participants from specialty courts, including the Hawaiʻi Drug Court and Veterans Treatment Court, attended the fair alongside Judiciary staff. Senior Probation Officer Jamie Logan noted that centralizing resources makes them more accessible for probationers, reducing the difficulties they face when seeking services independently.

This year’s fair focused on employment opportunities, with employers and workforce development groups offering job openings and career training. Legal aid was also available from organizations such as the Legal Aid Society of Hawaii and Volunteer Legal Services Hawaiʻi.
