Miss Universe Philippines Hawaii winner to celebrate birthday with fundraising event

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A UH Manoa graduate student is heading to the Philippines early next year for six months to represent Hawaii in the Miss Universe Philippines 2026 competition.

Waipahu High School alumna Charieze Lianne Cacayorin was crowned Miss Universe Philippines Hawaii (MUPH) earlier this year.

She will be celebrating her 24th birthday with a fundraising event tonight, Nov. 30, to support her journey as she competes on the national stage in Manila…
