Man charged for multiple felonies in armed robbery at Waikiki restaurant

HONOLULU (Island News) – A man has been charged following an armed robbery incident that occurred at a Waikiki restaurant.

36-year-old Wilsand Sardinha was charged with two counts of Robbery in the First Degree, Terroristic Threatening in the First Degree, and Kidnapping. His bail was also set at $750,000.

This comes after Sardinha was reported to have entered the Kayak Café on Ala Moana Blvd on Thursday night at 10:20 p.m. Police said that he brandished a firearm and demanded property from employees.

One of the employees was able to leave and the other was allegedly assaulted and had her property taken…
