HONOLULU (KHON2) — A 36-year-old man has been indicted for the alleged robbery of a sushi restaurant on Ala Moana Boulevard on Thanksgiving Day.

Police said on Thanksgiving Day, the man allegedly entered the restaurant as it was closing, pulled out a simulated firearm in front of the employees and demanded money.
Wilsand Sardinha was indicted on two counts of Robbery in the First Degree, Terroristic Threatening and Kidnapping. He was charged as a persistent and multiple offender.
Robbery and Kidnapping are Class A felonies and Terroristic Threatening in the First Degree is a Class C felony. This means that if he is convicted on all counts, he will be sentenced to life in prison…
