A probation violation in Wayne County led to an arrest in Hawaii and a cross-country extradition.
Deputies arrested 37-year-old Matthew J. McManus of Honolulu after authorities said he failed to report to probation on multiple occasions. The Newark Village Court issued a warrant on August 28, and Honolulu Police took McManus into custody on July 20 on an unrelated charge.
