KAPOLEI, Hawaii (KHON2) – Christmas cheer is filling the streets on the west side tonight, Dec. 6, as Kapolei kicks off its annual Kapolei City Lights celebration.
‘Season of stars’ event lights up Kapolei holiday season
The popular parade brought dozens of organizations, floats and decorated vehicles, entertaining families from town to Kapolei Hale. Crowds lined the streets as the holiday spirit officially arrived.
Mayor Rick Blangiardi helped launch the festivities by lighting the city’s Christmas tree earlier this evening.
