KALIHI, Hawaii (Island News) – A pedestrian was rushed to the hospital following a critical crash that occurred on the Nimitz Hwy on Monday morning.
The incident occurred around 8 a.m. on Nimitz Hwy in the Kalihi area when a 24-year-old woman was driving eastbound on the H1 Fwy onto the highway when she struck a 32-year-old man who was crossing Nimitz Hwy not in a marked crosswalk.
As a result of the collision, the 32-year-old man was taken by the Honolulu Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to a nearby hospital in critical condition where he was later pronounced dead…
