The Hawaii Department of Transportation advises motorists of intermittent full closures of Kailua Road (Route 61) at the Uluoa Street and Ulumanu Drive intersections for the installation of traffic signal mast arms starting Monday, Dec. 8.
A traffic signal mast arm spans the entire roadway, requiring full closures of Kailua Road in each direction for up to five minutes at a time, according to an HDOT news release. Crews will work on one intersection in one direction each day, starting with the Honolulu-bound Ulumanu Drive intersection.
