Constant speeding on busy road has Pearl City residents afraid for their safety

PEARL CITY (Island News) — Colby Kisaba and his five-year-old son Cole often have to dodge speeding cars to get to soccer practice at the park across the street from their home.

“Cars speed up and down the road constantly,” he said. “I would say it’s a scary situation.”

The speed limit on Kaahumanu Street in Pearl City is 25 miles an hour, but neighbors said drivers often race up and down this road at double the speed limit…
