Oʻahu reaches 6 traffic fatalities in a week; adds 2 more serious collisions

HONOLULU (KHON2) — It’s a deadly week on Oʻahu’s roads as two more traffic deaths have been added from incidents earlier this year.

The first death stemmed from a crash that happened on July 15 at 5:04 a.m.

A 50-year-old male motorcyclist was speeding down Waipahu Street when he hit an 18-year-old male pedestrian who was outside of a marked crosswalk, police said.
