HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Officials are warning hikers to use extreme caution on trails across Oʻahu after a recent rescue left two visitors stranded overnight in dangerous weather conditions.
A 30-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman visiting Hawaii were rescued from the Kuliouou Ridge Trail, just below the Koʻolau Summit, after spending more than 16 hours on the trail.
Honolulu Fire Department officials say the woman fell about 30 feet and sustained multiple injuries, to her head, neck, arm, leg, and back, while her hiking companion was not hurt…
