HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – State and city leaders gathered Friday to break ground on a project that will add hundreds of affordable units in Kalihi.
Friday’s ceremony marked the start of construction on the new Kūhiō Park Low Rises and Homes development, and kicked off phase one of the revitalization of Kuhio Park Low Rises, buildings that were built in the 1950s and 60s but have gone into disrepair.
