HONOLULU (KHON) — Drivers in Kaimuki may have noticed backed up traffic along Waialae Avenue on the morning of Dec. 21. Heading west, the street closed from 17th Avenue to 15th Avenue due to downed power lines, Honolulu Police Department reported around 6:25 a.m.
Drivers going west will be redirected up 17th Avenue, letting them reenter Waialae Avenue from 15th Avenue, police said.
