Nine displaced after early morning Honolulu apartment fire

HONOLULU (KHON2) — Early this morning, Dec. 22, the Honolulu Fire Department responded to a building fire just after 12 a.m. at South King St. in Honolulu.

HFD extinguishes early morning Mānoa residence fire

The first unit arrived at around 12:09 a.m. and found smoke coming from a unit on the top floor of a four-story building.

Officials say the fire was fully extinguished at 12:35 a.m.

Firefighters used the water supply as an offensive firefighting tactic and completed a search of the unit, which had no occupants…
