Christmas heat in Houston rivals Honolulu’s as record warmth grips Southeast Texas

Houston and Honolulu are nearly 4,000 miles apart, but this week’s warmth is bringing Christmas Day conditions more typical of a “Mele Kalikimaka” in Hawaii.

Whether Santa trades his fur-lined red suit for something lighter remains to be seen, but record warmth continues to dominate Southeast Texas weather.
