HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Andie Conching, known to be the first Native Hawaiian woman to become a neurosurgeon, is spending the holidays in Hawaii while training on the mainland.
Born and raised in Manoa, Conching, 30, graduated from Kamehameha Schools in 2014.
Her journey took her from Dartmouth College, where she graduated in 2018, to the National Institutes of Health, before returning to the John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM) in Honolulu to complete her medical degree…
