HONOLULU (KHON2) — While many families gathered around the table on Christmas Day, hundreds of Oʻahu residents received something just as meaningful: a hot holiday meal and a friendly visit.
Lanakila Pacific’s Meals on Wheels program delivered more than 600 hot Christmas meals to homebound kūpuna and individuals with disabilities across the island on Thursday. Each meal included laulau, chicken long rice, lomi salmon, sweet potato, rice and haupia, along with a special holiday gift.
