HONOLULU (KHON2) — During the Christmas weekend, parking restrictions will be in effect in Lanikai to reduce traffic congestion for residents along the Lanikai shoreline.
The Department of Transportation Services will restrict parking in Lanikai at Mokulua Drive and ʻAʻalapapa Drive from Thursday, Dec. 25, to Sunday, Dec. 28, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Final plan to ban daytime Lanikai parking developed
The city states that no one is allowed to park on the streets or shoulders of Mokulua Drive and ʻAʻalapapa Drive and that cross-streets connecting Mokulua and ʻAʻalapapa Drive are also restricted.
