KANEOHE, Hawaii (Island News) – Multiple people were left with injuries following a suspected firework blast that was reported in the Kaneohe area on New Year’s Day.
The Honolulu Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to Liula St. at approximately 12:10 a.m. to treat a total of three people who reportedly suffered injuries from a suspected firework blast.
EMS treated two women and a man, all believed to be in their 60s. Officials said that one of the women sustained a traumatic injury to her abdomen and the other woman suffered a traumatic injury to both lower extremities…
