HONOLULU (KHON2) — The Honolulu Police Department is investigating two separate robberies involving machetes that occurred during overnight into Jan. 8.
The first machete robbery was in Kapolei at about 10 p.m. on Jan. 7, HPD said. The incident occurred in front of a business near Kapolei Parkway and Kamokila Boulevard.
During the crime, an unknown man brandished a machete toward the male victim on a moped and demanded his property.
