Medical examiner identifies man and woman found dead from gunshot wounds in Waikiki apartment

HONOLULU (Island News) — A man and a woman who were found dead from gunshot wounds in a Waikiki apartment on Monday were identified by the medical examiner.

According to police reports, officers responded to the Wailana at Waikiki on Ala Moana Boulevard just before 3:40 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 5, after they were notified about a dead woman. Inside the apartment, officers located the bodies of 69-year-old woman and a 65-year-old man. They were both pronounced dead at the scene.

The the medical examiner’s office identified the woman as 69-year-old Shauna Sullivan and the man as 65-year-old Terry Muraoka.

The woman sustained a fatal gunshot wound and the man was also found with a gunshot wound, based on a preliminary investigation. Police confirmed that the man had a gun which was recovered from the scene…
