HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A 39-year-old man was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole after killing his mother and her dog.
Jamil Hart was sentenced Wednesday after he was convicted of second-degree murder in the killing of his 74-year-old mother, Gwendolyn Hara-Hart.
He was also found guilty of second-degree attempted burglary and first-degree cruelty to animals.
