HONOLULU (KHON) — After being detained for over two years, an Oahu man was sentenced to prison for trafficking and possession of carfentanil, the United States Attorney Ken Sorenson reported on Jan. 14.
Travis Kalani Hong-Ah Nee, 36, has been detained since his initial arrest in this case on Nov. 17, 2023.

On January 12, Hong-Ah Nee was sentenced to 78 months in federal prison and will serve a term of five years on supervised release.
Hong-Ah Nee pled guilty to conspiring to distribute and possess with intent to distribute carfentanil, possessing with intent to distribute carfentanil and possessing ammunition after having been previously convicted of a felony.
