A late-night confrontation at Ala Moana Beach Park left a 42-year-old man with a stab wound and in serious condition early Sunday, according to Honolulu police. Officers were called shortly before 12:30 a.m. to the popular shoreline park after an altercation involving the victim, his girlfriend and another man. The suspect took off before police arrived and had not been identified as detectives continued their investigation.
