City adds Saturday hours to renew driver’s licenses

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Oahu motorists, whose driver’s licenses are expiring within six months, will now be able to renew them on Saturdays on an appointment-only basis, starting Jan. 31.

The Saturday hours for in-person service at the Pearlridge Satellite City Hall and Kapālama Driving Licensing Center are being offered to help meet demand for the 110,744 driver’s licenses in the City and County of Honolulu with 2026 expiration dates.

The Kapahulu road test office will also offer the behind-the-wheel driving exam by appointment only on certain Saturdays at least through February…
