HONOLULU (KHON2) — More and more people are using the city’s Skyline rail system to get to work. But it’s come with an unintended problem – not enough parking stalls for commuters on the West side.
Skyline sets record ridership number with nearly 13K riders in one day
Cars fill the parking lot at the Skyline stop at UH West Oahu, forcing many to park on the grass.
“We come over here about 10 to seven, and it’s full already, so sometimes we park in there,” said Erturo Orpilla, a Skyline rider.
