KANEOHE, Hawaii (Island News) — An unpleasant and heartbreaking sight for Kaneohe residents when two dead honu were discovered steps from their backyard.
Rhonda Hjelm, a Kaneohe Resident, said, “It just was baffling to me, that number one, I was just so sad. One of them was a really big turtle, and it’s like, what the heck happened to her and how did the smaller one end up in there?”
