Hawaii police investigate alleged gun threat made by 9-year-old

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The Hawaii Police Department is investigating an alleged threat made by a 9-year-old Kealakehe Elementary School student on Thursday.

According to police, a child was told by another student not to come to school the following day because he claimed to have a gun. Police then opened a second-degree terroristic threatening case.

Officers made contact with the child who made the alleged statement, and detectives from the Juvenile Aid Section are continuing the investigation…
