Dozens of traveling preschools in underserved communities at risk of closing

HONOLULU (Island News) — Kahikina Abuluyan and her 3-year-old son Kuali’i play — and learn together — every week at Tutu and Me, a traveling preschool in Papakolea the toddler’s been attending since he was just seven months old.

“I like dinosaurs and toys,” Kualii said. “This gives us opportunities to just bond together,” Kahikina added.
